New CEO of LVI Low Vision International

Erik Bondemark, 45, has been appointed as new CEO of LVI Low Vision International and he took office August 3rd. Erik succeeds Olle Lindquist, who will remain as chairman of the board.

Erik has a civil engineering degree from Chalmers University of Technology and his most recent position was CEO for a large furniture company. He now looks forward to new challenges.

- I am looking forward to take the business to the next level, together with all the talented employees, says Erik. We have many challenges ahead, but with the recent positive results and LVI's combined expertise, we with confidence approach the future.

Both Erik and Olle stress the importance of continuity and they have the last couple of weeks worked closely together. Erik has also discussed the company and its products with the managing directors, subsidiaries and other employees to create a good overview of the business. He is impressed by the sales organization and sees it as a strategic issue to develop the distribution network even further. Another primary goal is to continue technical progress.

- I have personally been involved and developed LVI to one of the world's leading manufacturer of visual aids, and now Erik will bring LVI further. I will continue my support for LVI as a board member, says Olle who in late August retires and leaves the company in Erik´s hands.
