MagniLink Viewer – now with support for AI!
It makes our low vision aids better than ever!
We are excited to introduce AI integration into our iPad software, which can now connect to several of our video magnifiers. This enhancement significantly advances our already powerful video magnifiers, opening a new dimension of possibilities.
Initially, our low vision assistive technology could magnify text. Then, we added text-to-speech (TTS). Now, with AI, you can interact with our technology through voice commands or typing, making them even more user-friendly and greatly enhancing the daily lives of individuals with visual impairments.
For instance, you can now place a newspaper article under the camera, perform TTS, and request a summary of the document. You can also translate the text into another language, either by typing a command or speaking directly to the device. Additionally, you can ask general questions about the text and receive immediate answers.
Another AI feature allows the user to perform TTS on a document and then inquire about a billing address, a bank account number, and the amount due on the invoice. These capabilities transform previously challenging tasks into simple ones. Stay tuned because we will be adding additional exciting AI features soon.
An AI license is available for purchase as an optional add-on for MagniLink Viewer, our software downloadable from Apple's App Store. This software can be used on an iPad when connected to our video magnifiers, including MagniLink iTAB, MagniLink WifiCam, MagniLink S, or MagniLink AIR.
We are offering a 14-day evaluation license for those who wish to try the AI features of the MagniLink Viewer App on their iPad in conjunction with the MagniLink iTAB, MagniLink S, or MagniLink AIR. Please note, you must have one of the above LVI cameras connected to your iPad to use the AI features of the MagniLink Viewer App.
