This document contains privacy policies to our MagniLink ChromeViewer softwares. Currently we have two variants of our software, MagniLink ChromeViewer 3 and MagniLink ChromeViewer 4, each with their own privacy policy.
The Privacy Policies below describes how LVI Low Vision International AB, 556197-3610, Verkstadsgatan 5, 352 46 Växjö, handles your Personal Data when you use either MagniLink ChromeViewer 3 or MagniLink ChromeViewer 4.

MagniLink ChromeViewer 3 is a Chrome App that allows low sighted users access to their specialized LVI cameras. MagniLink ChromeViewer 3 will let your control your LVI cameras features such as zoom, contrast, artificial colors and so forth. It also comes with an OCR feature you will also be able to convert your pictures or documents to text.
By using MagniLink ChromeViewer 3 you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.
When logging in, using Google, we will request access to your Google Account to be able to access your Google Drive for the creation of files, and deletion of said files. Your email address isn’t used in any way and we do not read or delete any files not created by MagniLink ChromeViewer 3.
When performing an OCR request your upload an image to your Google Drive via Googles’ (USA) Google Drive API which then extracts the text from the image. The image is then downloaded using the same API.
We DO NOT download or store any of your data.

MagniLink ChromeViewer 4 is a Chrome Extension that allows low sighted users access to their specialized LVI cameras. MagniLink ChromeViewer 4 will let your control your LVI cameras features such as zoom, contrast, artificial colors and so forth. It also comes with the Notepad feature allowing you to take notes to pictures you’ve taken and with an OCR license you will also be able to convert your pictures to text and have it read to you.
By using MagniLink ChromeViewer 4 you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.
When logging in, using Google, we will request access to your Google Account to be able to license and verify your Google Account ID to a license key. Your email address isn’t used in any way.
When performing an OCR request you upload an image to Amazons’ (USA) Textract API which then extracts the text from the image.
